Updated: Mar 23

Artebula believes that creativity is not only fostered through arts and crafts, but in embracing science and technology, while learning to think outside the box. Here are 5 YouTube channels that provide easy experiments that you can share with your family at home, using common household items.

1. Raising da Vinci

This home-schooling mom has created some amazing science projects using items you’d find in your cupboards and recycling bins. She also offers a ton of other resources that might come in handy over the extended break!

2. Mr Duck

Mr. Duck showcases science experiments for kids, as well as magic tricks, balloon hacks and crafts. These cool videos will help your family stay engaged while away from school!

3. Drew the Science Guy

Check out these super simple experiments that rely on water to get kids learning. Most videos are suitable for preschoolers, but there are also a few for the 12+ age group. Remember to keep an eye on your kids as they dive into learning!

4. Ryan's World

Ryan’s World features a whole range of activities for kids, including this fun science playlist. Keep your kids laughing and learning all month long!

5. Red Ted Art - S.T.E.A.M

We love Red Ted Art for their arts and craft ideas, but also because they have an entire playlist dedicated to S.T.E.A.M education. Check out this playlist for plenty of ideas!

Don't forget parents, all this learning may come with piles of artwork! But the Artebula App was designed to solve that problem without guilt. You can download it for free from the Google Play Store and the App Store.
